27th. May, I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Mr. Harcourt's telegram of the 26th. May which reads as follows:-

Your telegrams of 13th. May, 24th. May, 25th. May. His Majesty's Government greatly appreciate generous

gift of aeroplanes.

2. I enclose a copy of a telegram of the same date from the Overseas Club. I communicated these telegrams to the Legislative Council at its meeting on the 27th. Hay, and copies of them have been published in the local press.
